Yawn Station Christmas Tree Farm is excited about the upcoming season.   Again this year we will offer the option of choose and cut your own from the trees tagged.  For customers needing future pick-up we will provide ribbons and signs to clearly mark trees.   Varieties of trees on the farm include Leyland Cypress (Leighton Green, Naylor Blue, Murray's Ovensii). Young Arizona Cypress (Carolina Sapphire) and Virginia pine trees are growing and not available.   Trees have been planted at various stages to provide a tree the right size for everyone.  The field will contain trees from 3 to 12 ft in height.  A number of Canaan Firs (pronounced Ka nane for the valley in Tennessee where they were found) in sizes from 6 ft up to  13 ft are shipped in from the higher elevations of Trade, Tennessee, one of the oldest communities in Tennessee, arriving for the Saturday before Thanksgiving.   Our pre-cut trees will be trimmed and placed in water upon arrival to keep them fresh.  We are excited about our pre-cut trees which look like Fraser fir and smell like the traditional balsam fir.   Come  early for a good selection and enjoy the sights and smell of Christmas.
